Christoph Mayer, born in 1971 in Göttingen, Germany, received lessons in classical guitar since the age of ten. He moved to Cologne in 1990 where he studied with the renowned Canadian guitarist Dale Kavanagh. In 1993 Christoph moved to Berlin where he studied music theory and journalism and composed soundtracks for two feature films, that were shown on TV and at international film festivals. Since 2000 Christoph Mayer lives in New York, composing and producing music, comedic short films and slide shows for various occasions.
